We’re “Thankful” for These November QuickBooks Online Updates

Along those lines, we’re also thankful for several QuickBooks Online Advanced updates in November. Advanced is a great solution for growing companies that need scalability—going one step up from QuickBooks Online with many features designed for larger businesses.

Use the Custom Report Builder to Find Better Data

Our clients who are using QuickBooks Online Advanced know how powerful the software can be for mid-size or larger companies, especially the ability to collaborate with up to 25 users at no additional cost, tracking profitability and managing inventory, and other helpful features.

Reporting and discovering insights for your business has always been a part of Advanced—and now just got easier with the custom reports and charts you can use through the Custom Report Builder. Now, you can “visualizing your data” and gather the business insights you’ll need to report better numbers. 

What you avoid with this is manually creating charts and avoid finding a third-party reporting solution. It’s built right into Advanced. You can create, edit, and send management reports with data visualization right in QuickBooks.

Additional Custom Roles for Bill Pay

Three new roles for bill pay have been added to Advanced: Bill clerk, bill payer, and bill approver. These roles are also available in QuickBooks Online Plus and QuickBooks Online Essentials for those who subscribe to the Bill Pay Elite plan.

With custom roles, you can delegate work and maintain access control anywhere you need it. And as you scale up, more custom roles make sure you maintain the all-important separation of duties and responsibilities every step of the way.
