Case Study: Harbor Watch HOA
Our Homeowner’s Association (HOA) made the decision to convert our Microsoft Access-based Financial Application to QuickBooks. This was not a trivial decision since we had been using The Access-based Application for 15 years and it had been meeting our needs. We made the decision because we believed that moving to a mainstream software product would ensure long-term support plus provide the HOA with potential increased functionality and address the HOA’s records retention requirements. After researching several companies, the HOA engaged KHBOffice DBA Certum Solutions to enable the conversion to QuickBooks Online because they could meet our need for an aggressive January 2019 implementation schedule.
Certum performed the conversion based on our HOA’s requirements on the tight schedule and within our planned budget for the conversion. We found Katie and her team to be responsive and, with few exceptions, the conversion met our needs. The few exceptions happened because we were moving to an “off-the-shelf” application versus a customized home-grown application. These exceptions were more than offset by the additional functionality QuickBooks offered and the prospect of future enhancements. We were very pleased overall with KHBOffice’s expertise, responsiveness, quality of the end product and level of support.
